As programme manager of Club Snafu, our creative director coordinated the Scottish leg of 2012's Resident Advisor New Horizons Tour.

RA New Horizons focused on dedicated scenes that existed outside the established global club circuit. Places with small but devout crowds, savvy promoters and great venues, but where you can't just stumble out the front door and see one of your favourite DJs every weekend. The goal was to bring artists to cities they've never been to before, and in the process highlight exceptional clubs and promoters that are doing big things on a local level. The clubbing series also took in stops at Shanghai, Beijing, Nagoya, Portland, Vancouver, and Oslo.

This project involved artist curation, building a communications strategy in sync with the RA team, and coordination of all aspects of event management from ticketing to lighting installations and staffing. The event sold out in advance and featured performances from Julio Bashmore and Auntie Flo & Esa.
